I just love, love, love taking photos of wildlife. It makes me so happy! Anyway, this is a male Bighorn Sheep in Estes Park, Colorado. He would never look up so I thought he might be camera shy.
Nice shot, I really like the angle! The sheep's pose is great, and lighting is great as well.
This shot is great, but maybe you could consider a second shot (if you get another opportunity) from another angle? Perhaps you could stand farther to the right (your right) so that the sheep's head is closest to the camera.

Thank you so much! I will try to get other shot on the 20th, when we go back to Estes. It's almost their rut so they are out and about quite a bit. In the Rocky Mountains the males are around 500 pounds and are 50 inches tall at the shoulder. The females are 200 pounds and 40 inches tall at the shoulder. Males' horns can weigh up to 30 pounds.
