I'm not 100% sure what this is but I think it's a kind of ground squirrel. Maybe. If you know, please tell me!

Anyway, I seen this tiny little cute thing on a walk and it must have liked the idea of his/her picture being taken because he/she stood perfectly still. :D

Cute little rodent!
The angle is great, and the way the muted brown of the dirt is complimented by the grass is great!
With that being said, I really like how the entire picture's colors are rather light. Any vivid greens or blues would become the main focus of the piece, and draw the eye away from the squirrel.

It's great that you included the shadow as well, and each hair stands out well!
Your lighting is great, and the way the squirrel is the main feature, yet isn't in the foreground is a really nice idea!

I honestly have nothing to change about this piece! This is fantastic!

Looks to me like a Richardson's Ground Squirrel (Urocitellus richardsonii)
