I had the time of my life this past week. I went to San Diego for the first time and I got 895 photos of amazing animals from all over the world. I'd never taken serious photos at a zoo before and I've never had to deal with people being in my way while I'm taking photos. It was very hard for me to work around people and glass and cages. But in the end I got some photos I'm very proud of and I learned a lot as a photographer.
I would love to hear your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, tips, and critiques.
I love this, it's a nice composition, too. In October, I did some "serious" animal photography at a wildlife park. It's not actually a zoo, but there are a few areas that do seem zoo-like.
But yes, this is a very different and special kind of photography to be certain.
I am so glad to hear you had so much fun and learned a lot!
I would love to see this submitted to the "Endangered Animals" folder at #Unframed-Nature
I think I'll request it, if you wouldn't mind to accept.
So cute! I love pandas! The angle is great and the pose is very natural. The focus is also very good as well.
I'd personally try and include just a touch more of the background to give the panda some breathing room, but it's your call. Overall, a very good shot! It doesn't even look like it was taken at a zoo!
